Danish–French collaboration
The DNRF entered into a formal collaboration with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in 2008, and the collaboration has recently been extended for one more year in 2011.
The purpose of this agreement is to develop and strengthen scientific cooperation between Danish Centers of Excellence and CNRS laboratories and institutes. The program is intended to accommodate greater mobility between Danish and French research institutes and to promote the exchange of scientists between the cooperating parties, thereby creating opportunities, especially for younger researchers.
The mobility program
Funding is provided to research-oriented stays for up to a year by Ph.D. students as well as more senior researchers. The DNRF will fund costs related to Danish researchers’ stay at French institutions and the CNRS will likewise fund costs related to French researchers’ stay at the Danish Centers of Excellence.
The mobility program is open for new applications. Interested parties can apply to the mobility program throughout the year.
